這幾年的聖誕節連假，我們都是選擇去西雅圖吃大餐慶祝或是到迪士尼樂園曬日光浴
今年為了來點不一樣的，但同時還要兼顧荷包和時間，所以選定了離波特蘭只要兩小時航程的賭城為目的地
雖然紙醉金迷的拉斯維加斯，實在不是個太適合帶小朋友去的地方
加上我們既不賭博也不愛看秀，更對那些過度人工浮誇的酒店街景沒有太多好感
但終究是個從沒去過的世界級景點，就當作是純粹打卡行程也不錯，反正度假嘛，開心就好
這次的來回機票都是買到廉航 Sun Country，只能說真的是很不推阿
兩段航程都delay將近兩個小時，害我們的行程大受影響
幸好小人現在已經長大了，無聊的等待時間也能看著自己的書自得其樂
波特蘭機場這一兩年做了許多擴建航廈和內部翻新工程，像是這個Pet Relief Area就是很貼心的新服務
其實以前在其他大機場也看過類似的設施，方便攜帶寵物的旅客可以讓貓貓狗狗暫時放風一下
小小的空間裡有人工草地和可愛的消防栓，狗狗可以在長途飛行之間解決民生問題
場地整理得很乾淨清爽，也幾乎沒甚麼異味，真的是很棒的設計
原本我們打的如意算盤是下午抵達之後，可以先去離機場很近的著名景點 Las Vegas Welcome Sign拍照打卡一下
偏偏人算不如天算，被這個爛航空公司一delay，竟然還沒下飛機前就已經天黑了
但也讓我們在數千英尺的高空免費欣賞到了賭城的百萬夜景，算是小小安慰了我們的心靈
下飛機後剛出空橋，就看到候機室裡玲琅滿目的吃角子老虎和賭博性電玩機台，真是讓人大開眼界啊
機場內也有販賣SIM卡的機器，如果是外國觀光客來就不用擔心手機電信卡的問題
除了飛機誤點白白浪費了兩個小時之外，接下來我們又做錯了一件事，讓預計抵達飯店的時間又往後延遲了一個多小時
那就是自作聰明預約第一天從機場租車，本來只是單純想說可以省一趟到飯店的車資，但卻沒有把來過節的爆滿人潮計算在內
光是等從航廈到租車中心的接駁巴士就花了二十分鐘，接著又在租車中心排隊領車等了半個小時
當時就好後悔早知道直接叫台Uber，至少可以先到飯店休息，總之真是不經一事不長一智啊
花了一個小時好不容易領到車的我們，開始照著GPS的指示往飯店前進
偏偏正是晚間用餐時間，一大堆車流湧進Las Vegas Strip，我們就這樣被卡在車陣裡龜速前進
幸好馬路兩旁有不少地標可以趁塞車的空檔拍照一下，要不然真的是會理智斷線啊
車子嚕了好一陣子終於看到傳說中的巴黎鐵塔了，不過離我們的飯店還有一段距離
一段本來應該二十分鐘的路程，硬是塞了四十幾分鐘才到，全家人早就餓到快暈過去了
終於終於遠遠地看到飯店門口，這就是我們這幾天要下榻的地方 – The Venetian
在像迷宮般的飯店停車場又繞了好幾圈找到位子之後，我們才總算來到大廳check in，這時候離下飛機已經又過了兩個小時
金碧輝煌的大廳果然是不同凡響，還以為來到了什麼歐洲古堡參觀
拿著飯店地圖研究了半天，好不容易找到我們的房間放好行李
全家人早就累到人仰馬翻，這時候根本也沒心思去想原本排好的第一晚行程，只想趕快找個地方填飽肚子
擔心時間已經過了晚上九點，可能很多店家都關門了，沒想到飯店地下美食街裡還是人聲鼎沸，根本就跟菜市場沒兩樣
不但所有餐廳都還在營業，而且人潮多到根本沒有位子坐，後來才發現這邊根本就是個不夜城，完全不用擔心打烊的問題
所以我們隨便找了家中國餐館，點餐外帶回房間好好休息
雖然食物價位並不便宜，但是份量和味道都還ok，總之肚子餓了什麼東西都好吃啊
長得很奇怪的肉燥湯麵，幸好小人還算捧場，也快把整碗吃光，看來真的是餓壞了
經過了慘烈的第一晚之後，隔天一家人舒舒服服地睡到自然醒，拉開窗簾一看
哇….是好久沒在波特蘭看到的藍天陽光，心情頓時變得開闊起來
雖然當初沒有加價選擇有大道夜景的房型，但是面向另一頭的自然風景，白天看起來也超讚啊
享用完早餐梳洗整裝後，我們先在飯店裡面四處晃晃，雖然說是飯店但其實更像個小型城市
如果沒有地圖指標幫忙，基本上是很難順利走得出去，我們住了五天下來還是每天都會迷路
據說飯店房間數高達四千多間，還有多個購物商場與美食中心，加上最重要的賭場也有好幾區
真的很難一下子全部看完，光是在裡面逛都會走到腳痠
接待大廳前方的噴水池是許多遊客來到The Venetian的第一站，三不五時還會出現打扮成義大利樂手的飯店人員拉手風琴助興
天花板的穹頂上都是精緻的仿古壁畫
噴水池的正前方是一條購物大道，兩旁集合了許多世界精品名店，讓你豪賭之餘還可以享受購物樂趣
不過馬麻一向對這些名牌無感，只忙著和小波拍照打卡
精品街走到底就是賭場區，在這邊住幾天下來我們連吃角子老虎機都沒碰一下
一來實在對賭沒有興趣，二來是賭場內到處都是煙味，我們每次都是逃命似的離開 XD
威尼斯人飯店最著名的景點，就是飯店內貫穿商場的人工運河，只要願意付點錢就可以坐著貢多拉假掰一下
不過排隊搭船的人實在太多，加上收費頗高昂，想想還是等以後真的去威尼斯體驗比較實際
仿造威尼斯聖馬可廣場的中庭，四周都是高級餐廳，早上用餐的人潮並不多
廣場另一頭
運河也有流經聖馬可廣場旁，船夫正在賣力演唱不知名的義大利民謠，乍看之下還真有來到威尼斯的錯覺
飯店外觀當然也是要完整呈現威尼斯的著名景點- 聖馬可鐘樓以及里阿爾托橋
另外還有一小段戶外人工運河，可惜因為現在是冬天，所以並沒有貢多拉可以坐
另一個角度看也很美，只能說天氣好怎麼拍都ok
濃厚文藝復興時期風格的噴泉就矗立在飯店正門口
第一天晚上錯過的Las Vegas Welcome Sign，我們總算也在之後幾天找到機會繞過去看
但是因為觀光人潮實在太多，附近完全沒辦法停車，最後只好馬麻和小波跳車下去快閃拍照
勉強完成任務，希望下次能好好在這邊拍張全家福啊
離飯店開車十幾分鐘有一片大型的亞洲商場，裡面各種中式台式餐廳選擇很多，也有幾家麵包店可以買早餐吃
最方便的是還有大華超市，可以補充一些民生必需品，這幾天下來替我們省了不少伙食費
我們根據網路上大家的推薦，在其中一家名叫Noodle Pot(天篷滷味)的快餐店點了招牌排骨飯和牛肉麵
排骨滷得道地，配菜也有中上水準，重點是份量大價格合理，很推薦到這邊玩的人可以來試試看
